The bridge option exists to recognise the existing investment in TOGAF certification for individuals who have achieved the TOGAF 9 Certified qualification.

This 2-Day courses focuses on the practical application of TOGAF in realistic enterprise architecture scenarios and provides thorough coverage of the knowledge needed for certification.

Certified individuals will have demonstrated their understanding of:

  • The key changes in the TOGAF Standard
  • The context within which an Enterprise Architecture practitioner must operate
  • How to apply the stakeholder management technique
  • How to implement the Architecture Vision phase including its applicable techniques
  • How to implement the Architecture Development Method (ADM) Phases B, C, and D to develop an
    architecture, together with the applicable techniques
  • How to implement the ADM Phases E, F, and G to implement an architecture, together with the
    applicable techniques
  • How to support the ADM work

Learning Studies
This courses include the TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Learning Studies as a mandatory element of the training. Candidates who become certified, who also satisfactorily complete these learning studies will in addition earn The Open Group Certified: Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Open Badge to reflect their ability to analyse and apply Enterprise Architecture.

Prerequisites
To sit through this Bridging course, you must hold the TOGAF 9 Certified credentials.

The TOGAF EA Bridging exam

  • Certification is only achieved by passing the examination
  • The exam has a two styles of question styles:
    • 10 Simple Multiple Choice
    • 4 Scenario Based, Complex Multiple Choice questions.
  • Section 1 is closed book and Section 2 is open book (using only the TOGAF Enterprise Body of Knowledge)
  • The pass score is 60% (18 out of 30 points total)
  • Duration of exam is 60 minutes

Exam Details

The TOGAF exams are administered by the Open Group at a Pearson Vue test centre or online via Pearson Vue’s online platform, ONVUE.

  • Candidates will receive exam voucher after the course
  • The exam is taken after the course, at a suitable time
  • The Exam voucher is valid for 12 months

The Applied TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Practitioner badge is provided to candidates who have successfully completed the TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Practitioner Learning Studies as part of an accredited TOGAF Enterprise Architecture training course.
